Black Twister is undefeated in three races wearing the red rug and stands out as Saturday night's best bet at Bulli after coming up with the rails draw in the 400m Ladbrokes Multi Builder Stakes.
A winner of seven from 15 races including a slick 22.57 from box five over Saturday night's course, Black Twister has had two wins and a second from his past four starts.
"He has his box on Saturday night and pulled up really well after his fourth at Richmond last Sunday,'' trainer Mark Gatt said.
"I worked him on Wednesday morning and could not be happier with how he went.''
Gatt believes Zipping Dion, who clocked a smart 22.63 winning over 400m at Richmond on May 8, could be Black Twister's toughest opponent.
But Zipping Dion's trainer Jackson Chaker said: "My dog has not seen the Bulli track and I will be happy if he can run a place.
"Ironically I educated Black Twister for his owners and he broke in really fast, he was always going to be good.''
Chaker is more upbeat about his chances with Custom Illusion, who has box two in the 400m Ladbrokes Switch Stakes.
"I was rapt in Custom Illusion's run when he finished second to Cape Fernando at Bulli last Saturday night,'' Chaker said.
"Custom Illusion had box seven and was trapped out wide in the early stages.
"He has drawn two on Saturday and that should suit him because he likes an inside box.
"I expect Custom Illusion to improve on last week's Bulli run because he is getting better all the time.''
Dapto owner-trainer Shaun Parnis has won nine races with Sin Rap Boom, Sin Rap Speedy and Sin Rap Blue, offspring of his brood bitch Muddy Miss, and Sin Rap Blue could add to the tally in Saturday night's 400m Ladbrokes Odds Boost Multi Stakes.
Sin Rap Blue has had three starts for two wins and a third, all at Goulburn, and Parnis was impressed with his dog's last start win over 350m on May 8.
"He got away well and led throughout, running quick time of 19.74,'' Parnis said.
"When he won on debut there on April 9, he only clocked 20.33 but he was having his first look at the Goulburn track that day and seemed to get a bit lost.
"Sin Rap Blue had a trial at Bulli before he began racing, when he was being educated, and while has not been tested over 400m there he should go well as he is improving constantly.''
Ironically Parnis would not be training the youngsters he bred from Muddy Miss if it had not been for the coronaviurs lockdown
"I am manager of a bowling club and if it had not been shut down I would not have time to train these dogs,'' Parnis said.
"Before the lockdown I had intended selling Muddy Miss' pups but when I was thrown out of work I decided to hang on to them for a while.
"When the club reopens I will either put them up for sale or place them with a professional trainer because it is simply too hard to train greyhounds while working full-time.''
